Stevenson had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Dunlap Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stevenson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryler Bondad led the charge by getting four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Bondad has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Lexi Randle El, who had six digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Stevenson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Dunlap lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rebecca Lopez, who had six digs. Caroline Holmes was another key player, getting eight assists and five digs.

Stevenson's record is now 19-10. As for Dunlap, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-9.

Stevenson has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Antioch on the 18th. As for Dunlap, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Kaneland on the 17th.
