Volleyball Recap: Poinciana Takes Down Davenport in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Poinciana rose to the challenge on Monday. They put the hurt on the Davenport Broncos with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Poinciana's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Isaac, who had 14 kills and five digs. That's the most digs Isaac has posted over his last five matches. Another player making a difference was Yaniel Pujols, who had 15 digs.

Poinciana now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Davenport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6.

Poinciana wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Celebration on the 30th. Davenport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
