Softball Recap: Santee Takes a Loss

Santee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-1 to the Orthopaedic Vipers. Falcons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Vipers since on Tuesday.

Santee's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Orthopaedic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santee will take on Narbonne at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Orthopaedic, they will head out to face off against Torres at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orthopaedic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
