Recap: Jackson-Reed Tigers vs. Wasatch Academy Tigers
The Jackson-Reed Tigers can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They breezed by Wasatch Academy on the road to the tune of 69-40. Winning may never get old, but Jackson-Reed sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
It was another big night for Scottie Hubbard, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Massaqoui, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Jackson-Reed is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Wasatch Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
Jackson-Reed will square off against Berkmar at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Berkmar will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps National Rankings (they are ranked 89th in Georgia, while Jackson-Reed is ranked 27th in District of Columbia). As for Wasatch Academy, they will square off against Legacy School of Sport Sciences at 11:45 a.m. on Monday.
