Soccer Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to the Montgomery Cougars. While losing is never fun, Franklin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Montgomery are ranked 88th).

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Montgomery, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will host Union at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Montgomery, they will challenge West Windsor-Plainsboro South at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
