Volleyball Recap: South LA College Prep Takes a Loss

South LA College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the USC Hybrid Trojans, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-15.

Anthony Ramirez was his usual excellent self, getting 33 assists and seven aces for USC Hybrid. Ramirez is on a roll when it comes to aces, as he's now served four or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jaaziel Aguilar was another key player, getting nine kills, two aces, and one block.

South LA College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for USC Hybrid, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

South LA College Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Animo Pat Brown at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for USC Hybrid, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Neuwirth Leadership Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
