Sam Houston entered their tilt with Sulphur on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Golden Tors with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Broncos: when they faced off against the Golden Tors back in September, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Sam Houston's got stronger as the match went on, holding Sulphur to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Sulphur still got an impressive performance from Taylor Petross, who had 20 digs and two assists.

Sam Houston's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Sulphur, they dropped their record down to 10-20 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
