Baseball Game Preview: Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves vs. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse

The Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves will head out to challenge St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Tekoa-Rosalia lost 19-1 to Pomeroy on Saturday. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse is still winless after their game against Waitsburg/Prescott on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-16 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cardinals. One positive for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Warren Repp and Blake Johnson did some serious damage despite the final result: Repp scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Johnson scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs Johnson has posted since back in April of 2024. Chase Harder was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

Tekoa-Rosalia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
