Basketball Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence lost against Oak Hill back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The matchup between the Independence Patriots and the Oak Hill Red Devils didn't end well, with the Independence Patriots falling 70-55. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Oak Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Independence will challenge Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season. As for Oak Hill, they will venture away from home to challenge Nicholas County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
