Soccer Recap: Bethune-Bowman Takes a Loss

Bethune-Bowman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Charleston Math & Science Riptide. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Charleston Math & Science this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on April 3rd.

Bethune-Bowman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Charleston Math & Science, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

Bethune-Bowman didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Military Magnet Academy on the 28th. Charleston Math & Science has also already played their next game (against Baptist Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
