Volleyball Recap: NorthWood Panthers vs. Angola Hornets

NorthWood and Angola squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but NorthWood had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Angola Hornets by a score of 3-2. The Panthers have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

NorthWood took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-15, 20-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Claire Payne paced NorthWood's offense, picking up 12 kills. Payne got some help from Emily Uhlmann and her 35 assists. Ella Branham controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
