NorthWood took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-15, 20-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Claire Payne paced NorthWood's offense, picking up 12 kills. Payne got some help from Emily Uhlmann and her 35 assists. Ella Branham controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Anna Mcclure was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 19 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in the last three games she's played.

The defeat snapped NorthWood's winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 30-7 record. As for Angola, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 32-4 record this season.

NorthWood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Angola, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Roncalli at 4:30 p.m. Roncalli will roll in looking for their 35th straight victory, something Angola surely won't give up without a fight.
