Soccer Game Preview: Jack Britt vs. Pinecrest + Official Tickets

Jack Britt is 0-10 against Pinecrest since October of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Buccaneers will face off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jack Britt's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Overhills 3-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Jack Britt's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Overhills are ranked 435th).

Blake Oxendine and Nicholas Calero scored all three of Jack Britt's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Trojans as they made off with a 6-0 victory. Pinecrest's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Pinecrest's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Jack Britt, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4-2.

Jack Britt suffered a grim 7-2 defeat to Pinecrest when the teams last played back in September. Can the Buccaneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
