Football Recap: Osage Skates Past Jesup with Ease

While Osage put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Jesup. The Green Devils breezed past the J-Hawks to the tune of 51-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Green Devils' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the J-Hawks are ranked 231st).

The victory (which was Osage's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 40.3 points this season. As for Jesup, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Osage and Jesup will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Green Devils will square off against rival North Fayette Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jesup is set to challenge their familiar foe Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
