Volleyball Recap: Rauner Gets the Win

Rauner won the last time they faced Hansberry and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats won by a set and slipped past the Bengals 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Rauner had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-22.

The win got Rauner back to even at 3-3. As for Hansberry, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rauner will face off against rival DRW College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hansberry is set to challenge their familiar foe The Noble Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
