Since 2006, St. Thomas Aquinas has claimed six state championships in seven title game appearances, gone undefeated twice and finished in the top 10 of the final state rankings eight times.

Our data reveals that the Raiders' rate of success and consistency during that span is unmatched by any team in the state of Florida.

We've developed a points system to determine which teams stand out among them all and St. Thomas Aquinas is the biggest with 332 points.



Here is how the points break down:

1. 20 for a state title

2. 10 for state championship game appearance

3. Other points are based on where a team finished in the final MaxPreps Florida Football Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall, it would receive 25 points. If it finished 25th overall, the team would get one point. No points are awarded if the team did not finish in the Top 25.
