Basketball Recap: Estero Victorious

After losing to Mariner the last time they met, Estero decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Estero Wildcats walked away with a 79-66 win over the Mariner Tritons on Thursday.

Estero's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Mariner, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Estero Wildcats face off against the Cypress Lake Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mariner, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Fort Myers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Fort Myers is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
