Softball Recap: Orosi Cardinals vs. Lindsay Cardinals
Wednesday just wasn't the day for Orosi's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Lindsay Cardinals on Wednesday. Orosi has not had much luck with Lindsay recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
For Lindsay's part, they let Jocelyn Garza and Emma Alcantar loose on the outfield. Garza scored three runs while going 3-for-4, while Alcantar scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Sophia Macias, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her six plate appearances.
Orosi's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Lindsay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.
As of now, neither Orosi nor Lindsay have any future games scheduled.
