ALA - Gilbert North had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Crismon on Thursday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rattlers. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

ALA - Gilbert North never let Crismon on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-8, 25-22.

Kristyn Grantham paced ALA - Gilbert North's offense, picking up 17 kills. Grantham got some help from Kylie Christiansen and her 21 assists. Christiansen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

ALA - Gilbert North's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Crismon, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-4.

Looking ahead, ALA - Gilbert North will take on ALA - Queen Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crismon, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Poston Butte at 6:00 p.m. on October 6.
