Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Post Falls' Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Post Falls had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Centennial on Saturday. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Post Falls' offense was headlined by Annabelle Tucker and Teresa Smith, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Lucy Carr and her 20 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mia Carr, each putting up three.

Sophia Guinn and Isabelle Guinn certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Sophia had 13 digs, while Isabelle had ten digs and one assist.

Post Falls is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Centennial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Post Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Pocatello on the 4th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Highland on the 4th.
