Wakeland is 4-0 against Creekview since February of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Wakeland Wolverines will be playing at home against the Creekview Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wakeland has four straight wins, Creekview has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Wakeland's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Highland Park. The Wolverines' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Meanwhile, Creekview's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to Turner. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 547th, while the Lions are ranked 242nd).

Wakeland's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matchups. As for Creekview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8-2.

Wakeland took their victory against Creekview in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. Does Wakeland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Creekview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
