Recap: Northumberland Indians vs. Colonial Beach Drifters

The Northumberland Indians won the last time they faced the Colonial Beach Drifters, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Northumberland took down Colonial Beach 60-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northumberland.

Northumberland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyreek Lundy out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine assists. The team also got some help courtesy of MJ Laws, who scored 19 points.

Northumberland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Colonial Beach, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northumberland will take on Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northumberland is facing Rappahannock at the right time seeing as Rappahannock is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Colonial Beach, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Point at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. West Point is coming into the contest with eight straight defeats on the road, meaning Colonial Beach will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
