Volleyball Game Preview: Beechcroft Cougars vs. Bishop Hartley Hawks

The Beechcroft Cougars will take on the Bishop Hartley Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beechcroft is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

On Wednesday, Beechcroft was able to grind out a solid victory over West, taking the game 3-1.

Beechcroft was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 26-24, 19-25, 25-14, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Bishop Hartley suffered their biggest defeat since October 26, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against Huron, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Bishop Hartley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.

Bishop Hartley's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Beechcroft, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
