Recap: Palm Glades Prep Academy Eagles vs. Homestead Broncos
The Palm Glades Prep Academy Eagles suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Homestead, falling 76-33. While losing is never fun, Palm Glades Prep Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 717th, while Homestead is ranked 237th).
Homestead got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Anthony Reed out in front who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Reed is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Edward Kendrick was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Palm Glades Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Homestead, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
