Amarillo Collegiate Academy will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 25 points on Friday, then bounced right back against Grace Classical Christian Academy on Friday. Amarillo Collegiate Academy relied on the efforts of Ethan Jaramillo, who went 8 for 11 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds, and Keegan Hutson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards. That's the most boards Hutson has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Will Stollings, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Town East Christian beat Winston 43-30 on Thursday.

The victory got Town East Christian back to even at 7-7. As for Amarillo Collegiate Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-16 record this season.
