Peru has gone 8-2 against Rochester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Peru Tigers will challenge the Rochester Zebras at 7:45 p.m. Peru is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Rochester came up short against Triton on Tuesday and fell 60-52. The loss continues a trend for the Zebras in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

Peru will have to contain Tanner Reinartz as he made an impact in Rochester's last game. He went 8-for-12 to rack up 19 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Owen Prater, who had nine points and three steals.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Peru, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Friday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Peru has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 34.4% of their three-pointers per game. However, it's not like Rochester struggles in that department as they've made 38.4% of their threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Peru beat Rochester 72-64 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Peru since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
