Soccer Game Preview: Bedford vs. Somerset

The Bedford Bisons will take on the Somerset Eagles on Tuesday. Bedford is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 17 games.

Bedford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Carrick a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Bedford, who have now won 13 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Carrick with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Owen Schrock (2), Lincoln Sipes (2), Owen Lantz, and Ben Schrock.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerset). They blew past Chestnut Ridge 10-0 on Thursday. Somerset haven't had any issues with Chestnut Ridge recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Somerset's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Bedford, their win bumped their record up to 19-1.

Everything went Bedford's way against Somerset in their previous meeting on October 6th, as Bedford made off with a 4-1 victory. In that matchup, the Bisons amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
