Baseball Recap: Westland Comes Up Short

Westland lost against Hayes last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars fell just short of the Pacers by a score of 2-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Hayes, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Westland will welcome Briggs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hayes, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Watkins Memorial on the 17th.
