Volleyball Game Preview: Head-Royce Jayhawks vs. Stuart Hall Knights

The Head-Royce Jayhawks will square off against the Stuart Hall Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stuart Hall took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Head-Royce, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Head-Royce was able to grind out a solid victory over Redwood Christian, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jayhawks.

Head-Royce had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Stuart Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Contra Costa Christian.

Stuart Hall's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Head-Royce, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
