Football Recap: Allen East Comes Up Short

If Allen East was feeling good fresh off their 39-6 takedown of Jefferson last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs were dealt a 45-13 defeat at the hands of the Bluffton Pirates on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Pirates are ranked 140th).

Allen East's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bluffton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Allen East will face off against Fort Loramie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bluffton, they will head out to square off against Columbus Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
