Tuscarawas Central Catholic had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Newcomerstown Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Tuscarawas Central Catholic walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-14.

Khloe Trivoli paced Tuscarawas Central Catholic's offense, picking up 14 kills. Trivoli got some help from Jessica Selinsky and her 25 assists. Selinsky also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Nora Jackson, each putting up six.

Tuscarawas Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Newcomerstown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Tuscarawas Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Newark Catholic on the 27th. As for Newcomerstown, they will be playing at home against Bishop Rosecrans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
