Sauk Centre entered their tilt with Minnewaska Area on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Lakers. The Mainstreeters not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22nd (when they won 19-4).

Sauk Centre's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Minnewaska Area, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lakers beat Sauk Centre by a score of 6-5 later that day.
