Volleyball Game Preview: Chino Hills Huskies vs. Claremont Wolfpack

Chino Hills is 0-7 against Claremont since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. Chino Hills is taking a road trip to face off against Claremont at 4:45 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Chino Hills comes in on three and Claremont on four.

Chino Hills will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Upland, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. Chino Hills came out on top against Upland by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

While Chino Hills might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Upland scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 14-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Claremont posted their closest win since February 15th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Poly, sneaking past 2-1.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (59-50) Claremont actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 10-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Chino Hills' victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Claremont, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Chino Hills came up short against Claremont in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Chino Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
