Basketball Recap: Paris Comes Up Short

Paris lost against Teutopolis back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between the Paris Tigers and the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes didn't end well, with the Paris Tigers falling 55-39. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paris' defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Teutopolis, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Paris Tigers duke it out with the Marshall Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Teutopolis, they will square off against Bloomington Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Teutopolis' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
