Basketball Recap: East Ridge Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

East Ridge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past the Irondale Knights with points to spare, taking the game 84-66. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-46 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Irondale lost, don't look at Jake Dedominces. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-18 on his way to 22 points. Dedominces' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Richard Russell, who posted 12 points.

East Ridge's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.3 points over those games. As for Irondale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.
