Soccer Recap: Harris County Comes Up Short

If Harris County was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of LaGrange last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Stratford Academy Eagles on Thursday, falling 4-1. Harris County were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three games prior), but Stratford Academy's defense proved too tough.

Harris County's goal came courtesy of Riley Markert, who's now up to nine this season.

The loss snapped Harris County's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-3 record. As for Stratford Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
