Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitko). They never let the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Thursday. The Wildcats have beaten the Generals the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Generals has come to flipping the script.

Isabelle Harman was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Taylor Long, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Whitko kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.

Whitko's record now sits at 12-4. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Whitko didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-3 defeat against Oak Hill on the 9th. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-6 loss against Fort Wayne North Side on the 10th.
