Softball Recap: Fort Mill Yellow Jackets vs. Chester Cyclones
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Mill). Everything went their way against the Chester Cyclones on Wednesday as they made off with an 11-2 win. The Yellow Jackets not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th.
Haley Rogers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, Lexi Verastegui was a standout: she scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Elise Nordgren also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Fort Mill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
