Basketball Recap: Astoria Sets Scoring Season-High Against Tillamook

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Astoria). They walked away with a 68-56 victory over the Tillamook Cheesemakers on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Fishermen: when they faced off against the Cheesemakers two weeks ago, they had to take a 53-42 defeat.

Astoria's win bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Tillamook, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with the loss, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Astoria and Tillamook will both be playing Scappoose the next time they take the court. Astoria will host Scappoose at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Tillamook will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
