Basketball Recap: St. Cloud Cathedral Takes a Loss

St. Cloud Cathedral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 42-33 to the Pequot Lakes Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Patriots are ranked 69th).

St. Cloud Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Pequot Lakes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Cloud Cathedral will face off against Little Falls at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pequot Lakes, they will take on Foley at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
