Volleyball Recap: Franklin Wins High-Profile Game Against Arlington

Franklin faced Arlington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Admirals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Admirals sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Addison Groene was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave her a new career-high. Gracie Stoebner was another key player, getting eight digs.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Arlington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 21-6.

Franklin has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Marquette on the 20th. As for Arlington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Collierville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
