Volleyball Game Preview: Northtown Pumas vs. Schurz Bulldogs

The Northtown Pumas are taking a road trip to square off against the Schurz Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Thursday, Northtown beat Christ the King 2-0.

Northtown easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Schurz was able to grind out a solid victory over Roosevelt on Friday, taking the game 2-0.

Schurz not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Roosevelt between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Northtown's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Schurz, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-1.
