Volleyball Recap: Cisne Now 4-1 over Last Five Games + How To Watch

While Cisne didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Oblong Panthers on Thursday. The Runnin' Lions were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Runnin' Lions were just returning the favor.

Cisne never let Oblong on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Cisne is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Oblong, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Cisne is taking a road trip to take on Mt. Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oblong, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Grayville at 7:00 p.m.
