Volleyball Recap: Minford Has No Trouble Against Glenwood

Minford won the last time they faced Glenwood and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Falcons blew past the Tigers 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-11.

Aleena Hale paced Minford's offense, picking up 17 kills. Hale got some help from Savanna Barker and her 29 assists. Barker also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kerigan Davis, racking up six apiece.

Minford's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Glenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Minford will be playing at home against Symmes Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Glenwood, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Oak Hill on the 21st.
