Soccer Game Preview: Castro Valley vs. Alameda

The Castro Valley Trojans will face off against the Alameda Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Castro Valley has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 20.

Last Tuesday, Castro Valley came up short against San Leandro and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Alameda kept a clean sheet against Tennyson on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lancers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The result kept the Hornets happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 11th.

They hit Tennyson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Weslesy Butterfield, Jackson Babbitt, and Landon Garcia.

Castro Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Alameda, their win bumped their record up to 12-3-3.
