Softball Recap: Trigg County Wildcats vs. Marshall County Marshals
Trigg County hadn't done well against Marshall County recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitcher stepped up to hand the Marshals a 3-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
The result came thanks to Tember Oliver's shutout, as she gave up just two hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lily Eagleson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Makenna Hendricks, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
