Basketball Recap: East Buchanan Takes a Loss

East Buchanan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 52-24 loss at the hands of the Lathrop Mules. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Mules are ranked 106th).

East Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Lathrop, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.

East Buchanan won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lafayette County at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lathrop has already played their next game (against South Harrison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
