Canyon View is 8-2 against Juab since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Canyon View Falcons will take on the Juab Wasps at 5:50 p.m. Canyon View is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Canyon View is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Juan Diego Catholic with a sharp 64-38 victory. The Falcons pushed the score to 48-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Soaring Eagle had little chance of recovering from.

Canyon View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maylee Spencer led the charge by going 7-for-14 on her way to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Bethanee Vargas, who posted ten points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Juab had just enough and edged out Manti 49-46 on Friday.

Canyon View's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points over those games. As for Juab, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.

Canyon View strolled past Juab in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 58-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Canyon View since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
