Softball Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

Centerville fell victim to Patterson and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Lumberjacks, falling 10-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Patterson, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Centerville will welcome Delcambre at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Centerville's pitchers better be ready for this one: Delcambre has averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Patterson, they will head out on the road to square off against Morgan City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan City has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.14 runs per game on average), something Patterson will no doubt try to take advantage of.
