Baseball Recap: Myrtle Beach Takes a Loss

Myrtle Beach couldn't beat St. James on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Seahawks fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 5-4. The Seahawks have struggled against the Sharks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Myrtle Beach saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julio Delfin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double. William Moran was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for St. James, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

While Myrtle Beach had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
