Soccer Game Preview: Bethune-Bowman vs. Branchville

Bethune-Bowman is on an eight-game streak of home losses, and Branchville a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Bethune-Bowman Mohawks will host the Branchville Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Bethune-Bowman came up short against Military Magnet Academy and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Branchville fell victim to St. John's and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to the Islanders. That's two games in a row now that Branchville have lost by exactly four goals.

Branchville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Bethune-Bowman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Bethune-Bowman was able to grind out a solid win over Branchville when the teams last played back in March, winning 3-1. Will the Mohawks repeat their success, or do the Yellow Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
